We aim to collect only what is needed to provide the App’s learning and practice features.

• Account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile details such as your name, email address and profile image, as permitted by your Google account.
• Learning & activity data: information generated as you use the App — such as quizzes and tests you take, your MCQ practice, activity history, saved questions, notes and progress — so the App can show your history and track your preparation.
• App usage & device data: technical information such as app interactions, approximate performance and diagnostic data, and device or app identifiers, used to operate, maintain and improve the App and to support advertising.
• Communications: if you contact us, we receive the information you choose to share (such as your email address and message).

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, and we do not ask you to provide more than the App needs to function.

3. How we use information

• To provide and operate the App’s features, including saving your progress, activity history, notes and saved questions.

4. Accounts & Google Login

Prepwise uses Google Login (Google Sign-In) for authentication. When you sign in, Google shares limited profile information with the App as described above. Your use of Google Sign-In is also subject to Google’s own privacy policy. We use this information to create and manage your Prepwise account and to associate your learning data with you.

5. Firebase & third-party services

Prepwise relies on Google Firebase services to provide core functionality such as authentication and secure storage of your account and learning data. Data processed through these services is handled in accordance with Google’s applicable terms and privacy policy.

The App and Website may use the following categories of third-party services:

• Google Firebase — authentication and backend services.
• Google AdMob — advertising (see the Advertising section).
• Google Sign-In — account authentication.

These providers process information under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

6. Advertising

Prepwise shows advertising to help keep the App available, including banner ads and rewarded ads. Advertising is currently provided through Google AdMob. Ad providers may use device identifiers and limited data to serve and measure ads; where required, advertising identifiers can be reset or limited in your device settings.

We may, in the future, use additional advertising or mediation providers (for example, Unity Ads / LevelPlay). If we do, we will update this Privacy Policy to reflect those providers before or when they are introduced.

To support advertising, this website may host an app-ads.txt file at https://prepwise.site/app-ads.txt as part of standard ad-industry verification. This file contains only authorised-seller information and does not collect personal data.

7. Notifications

The App may send notifications — for example, reminders such as the Daily Quiz or important updates. You can control or disable notifications at any time from your device settings, and where offered, from within the App.

8. Website cookies & analytics

This Website is designed to be lightweight and privacy-respecting. It does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics or tracking unless and until such a service is explicitly enabled by us. If a contact form is used, the information you submit is used only to respond to your enquiry. If we enable analytics on the Website in the future, we will update this policy accordingly.

9. Data retention

We keep your account and learning data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App’s features. If you request deletion, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.
